Dear Parents,

Welcome to MES and to kindergarten: Kindergarten is an important time in your child’s life and education. Your child will work on many skills and master new concepts this year. Your can contribute to a successful year by being a supportive and understanding parent to your child. I also encourage you to read to your child.

I am excited about having your child in my class. Let’s work together to make this one of the best and happiest experiences of your child’s life.

Our school handbook has all the information about lunch money, school rules, etc. PLEASE read it carefully.

Your child will need the following items:

1. backpack (no rollers)

2. 1 box of envelopes (for your use at home)

3. 2 boxes 8 count Crayola crayons

4. 1 box 24 count Crayola crayons

5. 4 LARGE glue sticks

6. Zip-lock storage bags (gallon or quart size)-boys only

7. Kleenex-girls only

8. 1 towel with plastic box or 1 mat for rest time

If you ever have questions or concerns about your child, please feel free to contact me at home or at school. When calling the school, leave a message with the office staff and I will return your call as soon as possible.
